Pierre has been backstabbed one too many times

Oh Pierre…

When designing the game, we wanted to have different effects and abilities for each Gunslinger. We thought, how fun would it be for the Outlaw to raid a Town and not only fight the Lawman, but then double-cross and shoot the Outlaw! Almost as if the only reason he Raided the Town in the first place, was to get back at an old colleague for a betrayal of the past. The extra thieving is just more butter on the biscuits.

For the artwork, we wanted Pierre to be this mysterious character. Soft spoken, good with a gun, and always aware of his surroundings. I love how Steven captured his essence while adding a casual cool to his demeanor. I can just see him in the background of a Western and watch as he slowly pulls his gun on the gang leader, rolls the wheat in his mouth, and lowly says something about being swindled for the last time right before he fires.

The next time you play Life Out West, keep an eye out for Pierre. He might just turn on you and gun down your best Outlaw.
